Welcome to the all new HPF site

Friday 22nd October 2010 Kyle
newsite

We’ve been talking about it for a year. We’ve been working on it for almost as long. We’ll be working on it for a lot longer. But today its live for all to see. There is a lot of things that still need to be added or updated or fixed up, but its at the point now where we can flick the switch and put it live. This new site has been designed and built from the ground up, based on a different backend platform and with a different philosophy, designed for greater interaction with our customers both within the site itself and via twitter, facebook and other social media channels.

Whats the same?

HPF are well known for our proven power packages and these still feature predominantly on the new site, they have however been simplified and updated. More data will be added in the coming weeks whilst we search through 100′s of dyno results and get them online. Our Ford and Holden packages are basically the same but have been better organised, we have removed 5 litre packages although we do still work on them, Subaru packages have been updated and simplified and we have added our Mitsubishi EVO packages. We have also added a section on our Diesel tuning packages which we are now doing a lot more of than we traditionally have.

Apart from information on our power packages we know visitors also want to see what we do and what we have done. We have already added info and photos from a couple of recent events and will be adding more info on our cars, customers cars and events we attend. If there is something you would like featured please do let us know.

Whats new?

Apart from the updates and changes as mentioned above there is now a whole lot more interaction available. First of all are link at the top of the sidebar to our news feeds, Facebook page and Twitter account. If you’re socially inclined check them out as we regularly update these with what we are up to, cool cars and also special offers and deals.

The new system also has an integrated commenting system, please feel free to comment on any post. We receive immediate notification so can reply as soon as possible. Please note that you don’t need to sign up for a new account or anything for this, you can comment using your Facebook account which makes things very simple and even allows you to also post back to your Facebook feed.

Ian, one half of the partnership that is HPF and who founded Amberley Autos over 30 years ago, has set up a page “Ask Ian” where he is available to answer any mechanical questions you may have. With close to 40 years experience on all makes and models of cars he should have the answer you need. Just add a comment and he’ll respond, as easy as that.

Whats next?

We’ll be continuing behind the scenes adding new content, fine tuning existing content and squashing bugs so would appreciate you letting us know if you spot anything that doesn’t seem right.

We’d also like help with content, if you’re a customer who’s got some cool video or photos of your car please send it through and we’ll get it online, just comment somewhere or use our email form.
