The G4S-HC420 upgrade starts with our trained technician fitting a fitting a set of Higgins Race Heads CNC Ported Heads and a new high performance camshaft and valve spring package that has been carefully selected by one of our sales technicians to match your driving and vehicle requirements. After all the components are fitted we custom tune your vehicle’s ECU on the dyno utilizing the latest ECU tuning software to maximize power and torque.
We complete the upgrade process by testing your vehicle on the road to make final adjustments, optimizing you vehicles performance and drivability. This is all completed in approximately 2 days and at the end of this upgrade we will provided you with a dyno graph detailing the power & torque increase of your vehicle.
Package Includes:
- 1 x ECU reprogram – MAFLESS tune
- 1 x Set of reconditioned Higgins CNC ported cylinder heads (changeover)
- 2 x Genuine MLS head gaskets
- 1 x Genuine head bolt kit
- 1 x Genuine crank bolt
- 1 x HP-F performance camshaft. (Selected specific to customer requirements)
- 1 x HP-F performance matched valve springs.
- 1 x HP-F Heavy duty timing chain set.
- 5 x Genuine Coolant (litres).
- 1 x Oil and filter change with Castrol oil
- 1 x Before and after dyno graph.

Notes
L76 powered vehicles (VZ SS 6.0litre) or any model with displacement on demand technology (AFM) requires replacement lifters to disable DOD. Add $510.

- We recommend all vehicles coming to HPF for tuning run 98 Octane fuel. Please contact us if you have a need to use different fuel.
- Power figures listed are estimated kilowatts at the flywheel based on results typically obtained by HPF on HPF’s dynos. Typically these are based of a manual vehicle with standard driveline and standard wheels and tyres. Actual power can vary based on each specific vehicle.
- Modifications such as this package require the vehicle to be in excellent mechanical order.
- We advise against increasing the power output substantially on high kilometer engines, if your engine has in excessive of 150,000kms please contact us to discuss options.

hello i have a hsv manta fitted with the 5 litre holden engine that is fitted with lpg ( the older mixer type of conversion ) do you have a similar package as listed above that might suit . There is currently little drop in power from lpg to fuel , it has a very large mixer fitted . Just wanted more power and lumpy idle .

We wouldn’t recommend fitting this package on a car fitted with LPG.

Hi I recently bought a clubsport, I found a receipt in the car that said it had heads and camshaft power package I had it Dino tested and it only pulled 270kw at the wheels. I was just wondering if it would need a retune to reach 390kw and if so how much would it cost?

We would need to know more information about the vehicle to determine what power it should be making.
Not sure if you mean 390kw or 290Kw ? as a retune tune will never yield you over 100kw at the wheels on a Heads & Cam car…

Was just considering the package, seems to make reasonable power which is great! I assume there wouldn’t be a problem with VZ SS ute. I was just wanting confirmation about the 420kw, that would be at the flywheel?

I have a vz clusport HDT edt, its got full exhaust and OTR. Was looking at doin heads and cam soon and was wondering if my twin 2 1/2 exhaust was big enough for a cam?
Hi Scott,
Your dual 2.5” exhaust system will do the job, it may hold the power back a little bit but unless your chasing every last KW I would leave it as it is.

hey guys, im new to the modifying seen. with this cam and head package do you have to do some supporting modifications? i.e. exhaust, air intake?
Hi Callen,
We recommend a quality full exhaust system and over the radiator air intake as per the G4S-330 package to get the most out of our head/cam package. Obviously if multiple packages are done together there is some cost saving. Contact Matt or Jeremy for pricing on 9793 1616.
