Garry and his iconic car BLO402 both share a long history with HPF. What was orginally some mild tuning turned to supercharged, to stroked, to bigger supercharger to even bigger turbo.


Its current form is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of power out of the LSx platform which it has done for the past 12 months. Its highest recorded power output to date was at Summernats 21 in January 2008 where it recorded the first ever 1500rwhp run with a 1531, it then backed this up a month later at VicSupercruz with a 1522rwhp.


Unfortunately the turbo has become the week link in the car with the unit failing several times on the dyno and preventing the team from really pushing the package. The future of the car is unknown at this stage, but rest assured that it will be back.

Heads: ALL PRO – Hurricane - 72cc Chamber - Prepared by Higgins Race Developments (To suit LSX block with 2 extra studs per cylinder).
Valve train: T&D rockers, Crow 7/16 Chrome molly pushrods.
Conrods: Oliver 6.125” HD Series
Pistons: 4.005” Diamond (Forged)
