I am looking into changing the exhaust and intake on my 14 wrx to help in the engine breathe better and get better torque and response. Could I please have some information on your dyno tuning?

    Price per hour?

    Estimated time to tune?

How long you require the car (one day or overnight)?

Can you tune my standard ECU?

When would you be availability to do the tune?

I will be install all parts myself and will drive or float the car to you.

    Thank you for your time

    • avatar

Hi Joshua, we can tune your car for $795 and we would need the car for one day. At this stage we would need at least two weeks notice but it’s always best to call and find out when we can book you in.

Hi I’m considering buying a 2007 Sti liberty coming from a 2014 Audi S3 that was tuned so need a stage2 with supporting DP and was wondering what the cost would be and a rough figure at the wheels I could expect??

Hey guys, I have an 01 GT Forester. I have a few bolt ons already on it such as; TD04L, 3” turbo back, bigger intercooler and a boost T. I have empire performance uel headers, catless uppipe, sti pink injectors and a cai ready to go on. If I installed these myself and brought the car in, how much would a tune cost me? And what do you estimate the power increase would be from factory? Also the engine itself has over 300xxx kms but I have another block sitting there if it dies.
    Cheers guys!

    Hi Matt/Rob,

Apologies if this has been answered before but just want to be sure before I go ahead with the tune and exhaust mod.

Anyway, I do have MY15 WRX Premium CVT, would the ECU program and Q300 exhaust void my warranty? And how much would it cost me to get this done? What sort of performance gain fuel efficiency should I expect?

    • avatar

Hi Rod, thanks for your enquiry. Warranty questions regarding upgrades should be asked of your dealer but most aftermarket upgrades would not be covered. I’d refer you to our type 1.5 package for your car for $2,895 which would gain you 30kw. Fuel efficiency is dependant on your driving style.

Anything available in the way of tuning/remap for a MY15 Diesel?

Hi mate i have an 02 wrx with 3 inch exhaust from the turbo back with a boost tee what sort of power would i get out of this ture and it is quite quick atm

    • avatar

Hi Shaun, Hard to say the exact gain you would see by tuning it without doing a before run on the dyno but I cant tell you it will make more power and be a lot safer than running a boost Tee.

Hey guys i am looking at getting an ECU flash tune for my 2015 wrx CVT and i was wondering how this would affect the 3 different driving modes; Sport Intelligent (SI), Sport (S) and Sport Sharp (S#).

    Thank you

    • avatar

Hi Dylan, from the factory the three modes really only alter your throttle response. After our re-tune you have more power in all modes but we change it to Sport Intelligent as low boost and Sport and Sport Sharp is High boost.

    Hi guys

I have an 06 forester xt with a 2.5″ exhaust all the way and a greddy profec b spec 2 boost controller. Id like to get a tune done. What would it cost me and what can i expect out of the tune (economy and power) ?

    • avatar

Hi Waz, Cost of a custom Dyno tune is $795. Economy shouldn’t change unless you are “up it” as more power equals more fuel. We typically see around 30kw at the wheels over stock with our type 2 package.

  9. avatar

Hey I have 13′ Forrester cvt non-turbo and I was wondering if there is anything I can do to it performance wise to make its have more grunt?

  10. avatar

Hi, I have an 01 wrx turbo with An exhaust and looking to get a tune, what power gain can be expected from your tune. Cheer.

  11. Hi there I have a WRX 2011 hatch and ultrex TBE how much to fit it and tune thanks

  12. avatar

Will you guys be testing/tuning packages for the new Subaru Levorg at all?

    • avatar

Hi Daryl, we can offer the same upgrades as the MY15 WRX Cold air intake, Dump pipe and Custom tune cost would be $2680 Inc GST and power increase would be around 20Kw at the wheels with better throttle response.

  13. Hello I have a 2001 WRX. And I just had a new motor installed and the car is hesitating when I put the foot down. How much would a simple tune cost to getting it running right again. Thanks in advance

  14. avatar

How much you charge for tunning liberty gt 07 auto (stock) and does it make any difference on stock car

  15. How much kW will I gain from my 86 if I get the HP flash program? From 147kw to ???

  16. avatar

Hi I have a 2011 WRX. I’m noticing sometimes I have great boost from low down and other times it’s feels like very limited boost or it kicks in around 3500rpm. Is this common? If so what would you recommend? Regards,

  17. avatar

Hey guys will or do you have the accessport available for sti MY15/16

  18. avatar

    Hi Guys,

Have a MY15 WRX cvt auto and love it. Would like a little more performance (and maybe note) to it without going over the top. What would you recommend and how would it affect my warranty?

    Cheers, Peter.

    • avatar

      Hi Peter,

I would recommend our Type-2 package, this will give you the best increase in power, torque and boost response, this package will take the flywheel power to around 236kw / 420nm. We can do this in one day but its highly likely this will effect your warranty.

The only thing you will get away with without effecting you warranty is a catback exhaust. This will give you better sound and small gain in performance. A catback exhaust will cost you $1495 supplied and fitted.

    Hi guys
Just wondering is this a permanent tune, as when I get my car serviced later on by the guys at Subaru they will reset the factory computer will the tune be affected?

    • avatar

      Hi Dave,

The tune is permanent unless Subaru do a software update which could wipe it with their new software version. If that does happen, we still have your tune on our files for a simple upload.

  20. Hey guys, I own an ’01 Liberty B4 with the twin turbo motor. Do you tune these?

    • avatar

Yes we can tune the 01 B4 Liberty.

      • What sort of gains would I be looking at? Results seem to be very mixed between companies. Thank you!

        • avatar

          Hi Edouard,

They are a different sort of beast the twin turbo Liberty’s. Tuning will not fix the gap between the two turbo’s but it helps, as the vehicles all ready run quite high boost pressure and timing (hence why they ping from the factory) we do not pick up huge power but you can expect to see a reasonable gain in power on both turbos and without pinging. Either way, its worth doing.

          • Cheers for the reply Matt. My engine doesn’t ping which is good. I think I’ll swing past the shop and chat to you about what I’m looking to get out of the car, and what you’d recommend, assuming you’ve worked with the B4 before.

          • avatar

No Problem Edouard, we have tuned quite a few of the Liberty B4’s, hardware can be a bit hard to locate but I’m sure we can help you out with your car.

  21. avatar

    Hi Guys

What would the power and torque gains be for a BRZ/86 with the HP flash ECU reprogram package?

  22. Hi guys, I own a 3rd gen liberty my02. Would you be able to do anything with its ecu for squeeze out a bit more power? And how much am I looking at?

  23. avatar

Can you show a screen shot of the Before and after Dyno graph data for 2015 Subaru WRX ? Thanks Jeff

  24. avatar

what sort of power gains have you made from a stock MY13 WRX just flash.
also what sort of gains wit a CAI & a TBE
    Thanks Jeff

    • avatar

      Hi Jeff,

      Thanks for your enquiry.

Power Gain on a My13WRX with tune only would be approx 20Kw at the wheels If you added CAI & TBE it would be approx 40kw at the wheels.

        Hi Guys

        I have a stock my13 as well
Would the stock my13 flash increase the torque at low revs as well? Eg for better neighbourhood driving? Also is there a graph of this available from the Dyno?

        • avatar

          Hi Derek,

We typically pick up around 20kw with just a tune. This will improve the way the car drives both down low and up high. The addition of a 3″ catted dump pipe will allow the turbo to respond even earlier without the added sound that comes with a complete exhaust system upgrade. I dont have a graph handy sorry.

Our ‘Stealth’ Type-1.5 package features the following parts:

          HPF Flash tune
          BMC air filter element
          Invidia catted dump pipe

The ‘Stealth’ Type-1.5 package features earlier boost response, approx 30kw ATW, almost standard quite exhaust and nothing else to give the game away. The type-2 dyno graph will give you an idea of what you can expect.

          • avatar

            Hi again guys

My car is still covered by warranties and such, what is the story for this type of thing? Do you issue anykind of cover to the drive train etc as my warrantee would be voided.
Yes the “stealth” package sounds ideal for me

          • avatar

            Hi Derek,

We guarantee our workmanship for a period of 12 months, we also pass on the warranties we get from our suppliers however we do not back up the factory drivetrain warranty like the car was still standard sorry.
