JEEP TRACKHAWK 6.2L HPF STAGE 3 | 700KW

The Trackhawk Stage-3 upgrade starts with our trained technician setting your vehicle up on our 4WD dynamometer and performing a baseline dyno run. This allows us to firstly make sure everything is working A-OK and secondly it gives us standard figure from your car to compare to once the upgrade is completed. We then get to fitting a 2.85” GripTec® top supercharger pulley and new belt along with adding a 160-degree thermostat to the cooling system. We then fit a JLT air intake system, a Pacemaker dual 3” stainless steel catback exhaust system and huge Pacemaker 2” primary, 4-1 Headers with high flow cats. The fuel injectors are then upgraded to support the additional power by fitting a set of eight XS1500 fuel injectors that will deliver enough fuel for even the wildest E85 combination. the same as Stage-2. Stage-3 goes further by adding more boost by ways of an ATI 10% overdrive balancer pinned to the crank and we free up the intake further by fitting a 95mm OEM ported throttle body. We finish it up with custom tuning your vehicle's ECU on the dyno to safely maximize power and efficiency. We complete the upgrade process by testing your vehicle on the road to make final adjustments, optimizing your vehicle's performance and driveability. This is all completed in around 4-5 days and at the end of this upgrade you will be provided with a dyno graph detailing the power & torque increase of your vehicle. Flex Fuel (E85) is an option, talk to one of our Sales Representatives.

  • Cold air intake - The JLT Cold Air Induction (CAI) system features a large surface area pod style air filter to assist in minimizing the restriction of air flow and is contained in a fabricated housing which seals against the underside of the vehicles bonnet to reduce the intake of hot air from inside the engine bay. This kit includes a roto-moulded plastic heat shield that has as opening in the front to grab fresh air from the grille/headlight area and also seals to the hood. The air filter is a custom-built design made by S&B and has a built-in bell mouth for super smooth and fast air flow as well as huge 1" deep pleats for more surface area than filters that look much bigger. The intake tube is also roto-moulded plastic with a huge 5" filter opening for superior airflow and NO heat soak like metal tubes. JLT is now owned by S&B Filters in California, USA.
  • Thermostat - HPF offers this premium quality 160-degree thermostat for Hemi Applications. This is a direct drop in with no modifications needed and includes the rubber seal. Reducing engine coolant temperature will help produce more horsepower and improve performance and driveability. The thermostat is an easy to install component and requires no modifications.
  • Supercharger pulley - The high boost supercharger pulley includes the ZPE Pulley Hub system for the factory supercharged 6.2 Hemi. The Pulley is made from billet 7075-T6 aerospace grade aluminium, stronger and harder than 6061 T6. This pulley is equipped with GripTec® - a unique micro machining technology. This technology allows the maximum grip force to be applied to the component and belt without damaging your belt. Made in California, USA.
  • Catback Exhaust system – A ‘Catback’ system is basically all the parts of the exhaust after the catalytic converters. It’s the section of exhaust where all the mufflers are placed and by using larger diameter pipe and high flowing mufflers more performance and better sound is achieved. HPF chooses Pacemaker Exhausts for the Jeep SRT & Trackhawk platform. Made in Richmond, South Australia for almost half a century, Pacemaker are synonymous with performance and quality. Pacemaker build a quality stainless steel dual 3” system and some model specific quad-phat-tips for the ‘Hawk. The sound is deep and meaningful.
  • Headers & High flow cats – Also known as extractors, we chose a 4-1 design as over the years 4-1 headers have proven their performance advantage over the tri-y design. 4-1 Headers are offered in a few different sizes for different engine applications or modification levels. The catalytic converters chosen are higher flow and feature 100 cpi (cell per inch) for Trackhawk. The catalyst matrix is coated metal so they are built to last. Given the performance the Trackhawk’s Hemi V8 is capable of producing, we choose Pacemakers 2” primary sized, 4-1 headers matched to Pacemakers 3” high flow cats. The catback exhaust bolts to the catalytic converters. Ceramic coating is optional, talk to one of our sales representatives.
  • Fuel injectors - HPF only uses premium fuel injectors from Excess Fuel Injectors for the Hemi platform. All Excess Injectors are tested on a custom-built test bench to J1832 standards under strict testing protocol in a purpose-built facility in Melbourne’s South Eastern Suburbs. Every injector set is dynamically flow matched within 1% and deadtime matched within 2%, this minimises time tuning injectors and allows us to get a perfect result every time. We choose extra-large 1500cc to enable the change to E85 or the next level in performance without having to buy another set of injectors and the beauty of the Excess injector data is that our calibrators are able to get the car to still drive perfectly. These injectors come with a Lifetime Guarantee – ask for more info.
  • Harmonic balancer – In the quest for more boost pressure we chose to add a premium ATI ‘Super Damper’ over-drive harmonic balancer as opposed to a smaller S/C pulley as this minimizes the chance of belt slip. The overdrive segment of the new harmonic balancer does not affect the non-supercharger related accessories run by the OEM drive belt. The ATI Super Damper comes in a 10% over-drive ratio for an additional 3-psi of boost and is pinned to the crank by our technicians to ensure it does not slip. ATI Super Dampers are OEM fitment on Mopar Hemi 392 crate motors and they provide balanced dampening of torsional crankshaft vibrations through all RPM ranges and exceed SFI 18.1 Safety Certification for competition use. ATI is based in Maryland, USA.
  • Dyno Tuning – By optimizing the engine tune parameters in the vehicles PCM to suit 98 octane fuel, we are able to increase both power and torque and maximise fuel economy. Late model naturally aspirated cars are generally tuned very well from the manufacturer so depending on the vehicle platform mechanical parts to improve the engines intake & exhaust flow may need to be added to really get good gains. Engines fitted with a turbocharger from factory are much easier to enhance as increasing boost pressure by tuning works extremely well. Flex Fuel (E85) is an option, talk to one of our Sales Representatives.

Notes

  • Power figures are estimates only and actual figure's may vary.
  • We recommend all vehicles coming to HPF for tuning run 98 Octane fuel. Please contact us if you have a need to use different fuel.
  • Power figures listed are estimated kilowatts at the flywheel based on results typically obtained by HPF on HPF’s dynos. Typically these are based of a manual vehicle with standard driveline and standard wheels and tyres. Actual power can vary based on each specific vehicle.
  • Modifications such as this package require the vehicle to be in excellent mechanical order.
  • We advise against increasing the power output substantially on high kilometer engines, if your engine has in excessive of 150,000kms please contact us to discuss options.
  • Whilst every attempt is made to ensure prices listed online are correct, they are subject to change at any time.
  • Additional parts may be required in some cases depending on the condition of the vehicle. Cost of these parts and additional labor required may incur additional cost.
